How soon can I take a pregnancy test after a missed period?

You can take a pregnancy test as soon as you miss your period. Urine tests are most accurate when taken at least 1–2 weeks after ovulation. Blood tests can detect pregnancy earlier, typically 6–8 days after ovulation.

Do I need an appointment for a pregnancy test?
